You'll need a Pinterest business account to start using catalogs and Shopping Ads. You can upgrade your existing personal account to use business features, or sign up for a new account.

Just pick the product groups that you want to promote, and we’ll handle the rest. Pinterest will automatically show your ads to relevant shoppers, matching your products with the people that we think are likely to love them.
Shopping Ads are marked with a special price tag icon and use our product Pin format. Product Pins pull in real-time pricing info, availability and a product description. If someone decides to buy your product, they’ll click to finish the transaction on your site or store.
Pinterest catalogs are the fastest way to get your products onto Pinterest. You can turn your entire product catalog into product Pins, all at once. After your data source is approved, product Pins are automatically created for every item in the upload. Then, you can sort products into groups and create Shopping Ads.
If you don’t have the right kind of data for catalogs, you can use Rich Pins instead. Rich Pins also display product information, but you have to create each Pin individually and you can’t use Rich Pins for Shopping Ads. You can only create Shopping Ads with Pins created through catalogs.
Fashion and home decor retailers can also use collections, an organic format that lets you tag multiple products within the same lifestyle image. When someone clicks on a specific product, Pinterest shows them similar items that are available to shop.
