Searches for summer outfits jumped by 40% from June to July—Pinners were already planning their outfits for the next season.2 Dunk used this insight to launch their client’s summer campaigns. The kick? They did it in the middle of winter.
In July 2021, they ran shopping ads and conversion campaigns for Arizonia Rose, and a conversion campaign for Bydee. Shopping ads allowed them to include details like price and availability in their Pins. Conversion campaigns optimised their ads for conversion through an advanced bidding model.
Throughout the campaigns, Pinterest kept them updated on the latest high volume search trends, allowing them to update their ad creative based on the seasonal keywords people were searching for.
Arizonia Rose’s campaigns achieved a 4x increase in return on ad spend. Not to be outdone, Bydee’s campaigns delivered a 5.5x increase in return on ad spend, while CPA dropped by 44% in comparison to the previous month.1
