Our annual not-yet-trending report, Pinterest Predicts™, is finally here. Since people use Pinterest to explore what’s important to them, our report provides unique insight into what’s next across categories such as fashion, décor, food, beauty and more. From the bold, luxe looks of Glamoratti to the bouncy bite of Gimme Gummy and enchanting getaways of Mystic Outlands, we’ve got the 21 emerging trends that will be making waves all over the globe for the year ahead.

The words ‘Pinterest Predicts 2026 trend: Cool Blue’ are surrounded by related blue images, searches and stats, such as ‘glacier aesthetic +35%’, along with a line graph showing increasing growth.

Over the past six years, 88% of our trend predictions have come true.2

Layered images and example searches represent three trends: Pen Pals, Glitchy Glam and Cabbage Crush

To identify these trends, our trends experts analysed billions of Pinterest searches and the visual content that people engage with. This gave us a complete picture of what’s capturing attention—not just in words, but the colours, styles and aesthetics that people are drawn to. By combining machine learning, predictive analytics and real-world observations, we narrowed down the trends to those with true staying power.

Pinterest Predicts reveals what’s about to take off in culture, giving you the insights that you need to stay ahead of your competitors. Here’s how our trend report can help you to turn trends into campaigns that perform and drive real business impact:

  • Our trends aren’t fleeting fads.  Pinterest trends last nearly twice as long as trends elsewhere on the internet.3 They stick around, giving brands more opportunities to create campaigns that will resonate with audiences.

  • Over the past six years, 88% of our trend predictions have come true.4 Pinterest trends are driven by the interests of millions of people, not by a single person or brand. That makes them highly relevant to an engaged and trend-aware audience and more valuable to brands.

  • Sales are driven by trends: The trends don’t stay on Pinterest—they grow and take on a life of their own in broader culture, fuelling conversations and purchases. In fact, checkouts on Pinterest Predicts™ 2025-related content increased 68% year on year.5

Take last year’s Pickle Fix trend, for example. We predicted that Gen X and millennials would salivate over the tangy treat, transforming it into a culinary icon. Our data shows that our forecast was not just accurate, but underestimated its explosive commercial journey. Searches for ‘pickle nails’ grew by 85%,6 saves for pickle party content grew by 35%7 and outbound clicks for pickle seasoning exploded by 835%.8

An example Pin for the Brooched trend shows a close-up shot of a man’s shirt collar with multiple brooches. It is against a fabric background with more brooches, as well as a graphic for increasing saves and a line graph showing a goal being exceeded.
