Exciting expansions to the Pinterest Creator Fund

Applications are closed for this cycle. Please visit our new Creator Inclusion Fund page to learn more about the program and future opportunities to join.

The Creator Fund returns this year with more opportunities for creators like you to grow, connect and—most importantly—succeed on Pinterest.

Creating a more inclusive space online means increasing our investment to support the work of underrepresented creators. Starting today, we’re announcing an expanded Creator Fund program, with more opportunities for creators to participate and get hands-on support.

More participants, more partnership

New for 2022, we’ll announce a new Fund cycle every quarter, giving even more creators access to financial resources and training. Each cycle will focus on a different content area, for more personalized training and community building. This first 2022 cycle is focused on Fashion and Beauty, inviting Fashion and Beauty creators in the US to apply. Future cycles will include topics like Food, Lifestyle and Wellness.

The new format means that participants will get a mix of Pinterest training and deep industry insights from experts in the field. And we have some really exciting news: This next cohort is being sponsored by L'Oréal USA. Creators in the Fund will hear directly from L’Oréal USA about potential partnerships, and will also receive complimentary beauty products for creators to use within their content if they choose.

A bigger, better, bolder program

We’ve expanded the program from four weeks to five, giving you more dedicated time and resources to sharpen your skills and develop new strategies. You’ll not only learn how to make Idea Pins that pop, but you’ll also dig into how Pinterest trends can help you create the most inspiring—and timely—content.

Three Idea Pins in a grid. One Idea Pin shows a woman’s hand filling a deviled egg. The second Pin shows a woman working out on an exercise mat. The third shows a woman holding eye shadow.

Special access to meaningful resources

Participation in the Creator Funds opens up potential brand partnership opportunities for you, and gives you access to creator-focused conferences. And because a financial leg up matters, you’ll receive $25,000 in the form of a cash grant, ad credits and an equipment stipend. You’ll also get a first look at new Pinterest products.

It’s all about your growth and visibility

Past Fund graduates are seeing steady growth on Pinterest and directly feeling the impact. On average, they gained 60% more followers after completion of the program.1 Health and fitness pro Wendy Traylor scored 75% more followers between September 2021 and March 2022. Skincare creator Chesca Ortiz saw her monthly views increase by 47%.1

“

The Pinterest Creator Fund Program was a tremendous opportunity for me because it helped me refine my skills as a creator, gain confidence, build an amazingly supportive community within Pinterest and get exposure outside of Pinterest.”

Coming soon: global cohorts

The fund is based in the US for now. But we’re excited to expand the program to include underrepresented creators in Brazil and the UK later this year. It’s happening! Be sure to check back for updates and new opportunities over the coming months.

How to apply

Applications are closed for this round, but keep an eye out for announcements about the next cycle and its focus area. We can't wait to work with you.
