Pretty Wire transform their acquisition strategy with Pinterest's Performance+ campaigns.

Goal

Pretty Wire wanted to maximise conversions while simplifying their campaign management. With a wide target audience ranging from ages 18 to 65, and a calendar punctuated by seasonal collections, the brand were seeking to increase their ROAS and reach shoppers ready to take action.

Pinterest helped Pretty Wire rise to the challenge with Performance+, an AI and automation-based optimisation tool that fit seamlessly into their conversion strategy. As a result, they exceeded their ambitious ROAS goals with no extra effort.

Strategy

To achieve their ambition goals, Pretty Wire relied on Pinterest's high-affinity, high-intent audience and the new AI-powered tool, Performance+. With Performance+, the brand was able to automatically identify and target the most relevant audiences while adjusting bids and placements in real time. This approach enabled Pretty Wire to significantly reduce manual optimisation efforts while achieving better results.

The brand started with a conversion campaign highlighting summer clothing. These initial tests doubled the brand's ROAS compared to previous campaigns. Encouraged by these results, Pretty Wire expanded their strategy by adding more collections and testing the integration of their product catalogue, which allowed them to automatically highlight the products most relevant to the people who use their platform. In fact, merchants who add their product catalogue to Pinterest see a 90% average increase in product saves and a 30% average increase in conversions1.

Pretty Wire's content strategy, focusing on ads with a strong seasonal aesthetic, was a key part of this success. By combining engaging formats such as Carousels and video ads with visuals tailored for each season, with a close affinity for Pinterest's lifestyle content, the brand was able to captivate their audience and inspire them to purchase. After all, people on Pinterest come to the platform to plan their future projects, including outfits and fashion purchases, with a high level of seasonal engagement.
