These are the top five emerging colors on Pinterest, sure to make waves across everything from wardrobes to wall colors, manis to mocktails. Take advantage of our trending colors to inform your creative assets, seasonal color palettes and even your product lineups.
The Pinterest Palette builds off our proprietary methodology and insights gleaned from years of trend reporting with Pinterest Predicts. We start with what we do best: digging into the data to spot trends before they take off.
First, our team analyzed the trend list for Pinterest Predicts, zeroing in on search terms related to color specifically. Think “cherry red fashion” and “soft yellow aesthetics.” Then, our in-house creative and insights teams worked hand-in-hand to map the trends and color clusters against first-party platform Pin color data. Looking at actions like saves, we were able to see which colors are driving engagement over time.
The result? Five trend-driven colors ready to take over Pinterest—and culture at large. From pickle-perfect greens to soft yellow daydreams, these five colors are setting the tone (and hues) for 2025.1
We’re going full cherry mode in 2025. Inspired by the trend Cherry Coded, this bold hue is here to make a statement. Nail it, wear it, or deck your space in it. It’s the ultimate cherry on top.
A pinch of playful, a dollop of whimsy. Inspired by trends like Dolled Up, Fisherman Aesthetic and Surreal Soirees, this soft pastel yellow brings warmth to every corner.
Lilac, but with an edge. This moody tone pulls inspiration from trends like Sea Witchery and Aura Beauty. It’s perfect for cosmic-inspired looks and otherworldly design.
Pickled perfection in a color. Born from trends like Pickle Fix and Terra Futura, this tangy take on green is shaking up kitchens, wardrobes and cocktails that are too cool to sip.
Your new neutral. Channeling trends like Peak Travel and Moto Boho, this cozy-chic color is all about layered textures—and that perfectly poured latte moment.
Our palette is inspired by Pinners—but it’s built for creative professionals like you. Whether you’re running campaigns, concepting identities or even making physical merchandise, these colors can help keep your brand fresh throughout 2025.
Plan details that pop: The colors can help add flair and relevance to upcoming shoots or campaigns, whether they’re front-and-center or simple pops. Think about ways the Palette can inspire art direction through sets, props or styling.
Make a monochromatic statement: Pick products that match the trending colors, then run ads that put color front and center. For example, you could use a Collections or Carousel ad format to build creative that’s thumb-stoppingly monochromatic.
Help people find their new favorite color: Inspire people to explore the possibilities and envision the Palette in their own life. You could show the same scenes in different colors, or help people pick the best shade for their life with interactive Quiz ads.
Give Gen Z their next aesthetic: Gen Z Pinners are constantly looking for fresh aesthetics and ways to revamp their vibe. Run creative targeted to this prime audience that helps them figure out their own color story for 2025.
Think seasonally: No matter what your brand does, you can align campaign creative with seasonally relevant hues. Think Alpine Oat during ski season, or Butter Yellow for spring decor.
