Introducing Pinterest Ads in Germany, Austria, Spain and Italy

Early success

Prior to our full launch, we opened up ads to a small group of German businesses. Brands like Ferrero, REWE and Tchibo have already seen success using Pinterest Ads to tap into an audience on Pinterest that's looking for what to try or buy next.

This newest expansion means that Pinterest Ads are now available in four new European countries, in addition to existing markets in the US, UK, Canada, France, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Since launching ads in France in November 2018, French businesses have seen positive results and many, including Leroy Merlin – a popular home improvement store – have expressed interest in expanding ads into these new markets.

To support this expansion on the ground, we’re building new sales teams in Germany, Spain and Italy with regional teams in Germany, France and Ireland set up to support advertisers across other European locations.
