Gucci Beauty collaborated with Pinterest very early on in the process of campaign planning to achieve creative excellence. This meant the campaign was built with Pinterest best practices and leveraged a multi-objective strategy for maximum impact.
Pinterest’s creative strategy team built a creative playbook and toolkit that transformed existing creative assets to high performing Pinterest-ready ads. This rich creative content was then applied to a diverse set of formats.
The creative strategy was underpinned with a solid foundation in audience insight and Pinterest consumer data. Holiday shopping is one of the biggest moments of the year on Pinterest. These seasonal purchase habits fueled Gucci Beauty’s campaign strategy.
Gucci Beauty and Pinterest reinforced the campaign with a learning agenda powered by four six-question Pinterest Brand Lift Studies. The studies analyzed the impact of the campaigns across key brand metrics such as brand awareness and purchase intent, but also gathered data to understand what type of people were considering buying from beauty brands during the festive season.
