The spy-themed show unfolded like a series of top-secret marketing missions, featuring new product feature updates and insights from industry leaders that revealed what’s possible when you partner with Pinterest. Shopping, browsing and discovery are all inherently visual activities. That’s likely why 39% of Gen Z prefer to start their searches on Pinterest instead of a search engine.1 Unlike other platforms that use words to search, our visual search lets people explore and refine ideas by starting with images.
During the show, we previewed new features designed to make visual discovery even easier and more enjoyable. For example, we’re testing updates that improve how boards work—helping people to save, organise and shop for ideas in more personalised ways.
Tip: Increase your brand’s visibility by uploading your entire product catalogue. It’s the most effective way for your products to appear directly in your audience’s feeds, and in relevant searches. A larger catalogue also helps Pinterest to match the right items to shoppers who are ready to buy.

Staying ahead of what audiences actually want can be overwhelming, especially as trends emerge (and fade) faster than ever.2 Understanding your audience means knowing what grabs their attention and what they’re buying, often before they do.

Our updated Trends tool offers first-of-its-kind insights into what people search, save and shop for on Pinterest, helping you to plan for more engaging, relevant campaigns. Features such as seasonal predictive trends give forecasts up to 90 days in advance, while handpicked editors’ picks and real-time shopping insights (both currently in testing)4 further help brands to tap into exactly what Pinterest users want now.
Tip: Learn how the Trends tool helps you to find rising search terms that are relevant to your audience. Then update your creative and targeting to align with these trends, so your campaigns feel timely and authentic when interest is highest.
Performance pressure is real, and today’s fragmented, complex marketing landscape can make it feel harder to keep up. That’s why having the right tools is essential. Pinterest ads can be customised for conversions at all stages of the funnel.
During the show, we announced the latest enhancements on our ad solutions—just in time for the festive season. For starters, we expanded our suite of AI and automation tools with new Pinterest Performance+ features such as image cropping and ROAS bidding.
Plus, we’re making it easier to connect with shoppers when it matters most. Advertisers can now highlight local inventory for nearby pick-up and delivery—perfect for those who want to see a product before buying. We’ll automatically showcase your promotions and price drops, whether you import discounts from Shopify or create them at scale with the bulk editor. And shoppers can also see ‘Where-to-Buy’ links to choose their favourite retailer.
