People use Pinterest to plan what’s next, which means that we’re able to predict the next big things in culture. And now, fresh off Pinterest Predicts 2025, we have a whole new set of insights for you: the 2025 Pinterest Palette.
These are the top five emerging colours on Pinterest, and they are sure to make waves across everything from wardrobes to wall colours, manicures to mocktails. Cherry Red, Butter Yellow, Aura Indigo—it’s a real ‘who’s hue’ of inspiring, gorgeous shades. Take advantage of our trending colours to inform your creative assets, seasonal colour palettes and even your product line-ups.
The Pinterest Palette builds off our proprietary methodology and insights, which are gleaned from years of trend reporting with Pinterest Predicts. We start with what we do best: digging into the data to spot trends before they take off.
First, our team analysed the trend list for Pinterest Predicts, honing in on search terms related specifically to colours. Think ‘cherry red fashion’ and ‘soft yellow aesthetics’. Then, our in-house creative and insights teams worked hand in hand to map the trends and colour clusters against first-party platform Pin colour data. By looking at actions such as saves, we were able to see which colours are driving engagement over time.
The result? Five trend-driven colours that are ready to take over Pinterest—and culture at large. From pickle-perfect greens to soft yellow daydreams, these five colours are setting the tone (and hues) for 2025.1
We’re going full cherry mode in 2025. Inspired by the Cherry Coded trend, this bold hue is here to make a statement. Nail it, wear it or decorate your space with it. It’s the ultimate cherry on top.
A pinch of playful, a dollop of whimsy. Inspired by trends such as Dolled Up, Fisherman Aesthetic and Surreal Soirees, this soft pastel yellow brings warmth to every corner.
Lilac, but with an edge. This moody tone pulls inspiration from trends such as Sea Witchery and Aura Beauty. It’s perfect for cosmic-inspired looks and otherworldly designs.
Pickled perfection in a colour. Born from trends such as Pickle Fix and Terra Futura, this tangy take on green is shaking up kitchens, wardrobes and cocktails that are too cool to sip.
Your new neutral. Channelling trends such as Peak Travel and Moto Boho, this cosy-chic colour is all about layered textures—and that perfectly poured latte moment.
Our palette is inspired by Pinners—but it’s built for creative professionals like you. Whether you’re running campaigns, concepting identities or even making physical merchandise, these colours can help to keep your brand fresh throughout 2025.
Plan details that pop: The colours can help to add flair and relevance to upcoming shoots or campaigns, whether they’re front and centre or simple pops. Think about ways in which the Palette can inspire art direction through sets, props or styling.
Make a monochromatic statement: Pick products that match the trending colours, then run ads that put that colour front and centre. For example, you could use a collections or carousel ad format to build creative that’s thumb-stoppingly monochromatic.
Help people to find their new favourite colour: Inspire people to explore possibilities and envision the Palette in their own life. You could show the same scenes in different colours, or help people to pick the best shade for their life with interactive quiz ads.
Give Gen Z their next aesthetic: Gen Z Pinners are constantly looking for fresh aesthetics and ways to revamp their vibe. Run creative that targets this prime audience and helps them to figure out their own colour story for 2025.
Think seasonally: No matter what your brand does, you can align campaign creative with seasonally relevant hues. Think Alpine Oat during skiing season, or Butter Yellow for spring décor.
