Love is in the air and 29 million Pinners have turned to Pinterest for Valentine’s Day inspiration. So far 200 million Pins about the holiday have been added—that’s a lot of heart-shaped cakes and DIY cards! In particular, Pinners are crushing on Pins about ‘falling in love’ and romantic dinner recipes.
With 58 million Valentine’s Day searches conducted by 12 million Pinners, now is the perfect time to show your Pinterest boards a little love. Searches for “Valentine’s ideas,” “Valentine’s Day gifts for him” and “Valentine’s Day crafts” rose to the top of the list. Make your Pins stand out by helping Pinners create a memorable Valentine’s Day date from a thoughtful gift idea down to the details for a swoon-worthy outfit.

- Remember that Valentine’s Day isn’t just about couples. Follow Kate Spade New York’s lead and encourage customers to treat themselves to something special or suggest holiday-themed crafts for children like Pottery Barn Kids.
- Give Pinners everything they need for a romantic night including date ideas, outfit inspiration, creative recipes and great gifts. Businesses like Crate and Barrel and Real Simple create well-rounded boards for a one-stop Valentine’s Day shop.
- Use Promoted Pins to target a specific audience and drive customer action like the lingerie company Adore Me, which promotes their Pins in Valentine’s Day searches.
