To drive awareness and consideration among their target audience–travel and design enthusiasts–ibis Styles leveraged Pinterest’s Creative Connect programme to highlight its offer to users looking for an escape.
For the summer 2022, ibis Styles and their agency, iProspect wanted to reach a new audience interested in travel and design. iProspect turned to Pinterest to help ibis Styles develop their awareness among this new target group who like to travel in style.
With their Pinterest campaign, the brand could reach millions of people using the platform to plan their next trip.1 They wanted the campaign to highlight what sets them apart: free cancellations, breakfast included and their best price guarantee. To share these key messages and also capture the attention of a new audience, ibis Styles worked with Pinterest’s Creative Connect programme to design the campaign’s creative.

In partnership with Pinterest's Creative Connect programme, they produced several ad formats, from the classic standard Pin to the Max-width video ads. The ads evoked a feeling of wanderlust while keeping Pinterest best practices in mind: featuring the logo, concise text overlay and a clear call to action.

With 3m unique users reached, ibis Style achieved 80% coverage of their design and travel target.2 The strong results contributed to the success of their awareness goals. The brand measured a 4% lift in brand awareness following the campaign.2
Retargeting to users who engaged with the video campaign also paid off, boosting booking intent by 8%.2 With this campaign, ibis Styles succeeded in reaching a new audience of travellers looking for inspiration on Pinterest.
