With the Pinterest Conversions API, Swyft maximises conversion visibility

After easily implementing the Pinterest Conversions API, Swyft, a home retailer and  long-time Pinterest advertiser, unlocked substantial lifts in campaign effectiveness 

For this campaign, Swyft employed a multi-objective strategy targeting consideration, shopping and conversion. Whilst focusing on static Pins that highlighted benefits specific to their products like 24 hour delivery and no tools required set up.

In previous campaigns, the brand measured performance with the Pinterest tag, which allows advertisers to track actions people take on an advertiser’s website after they view a Promoted Pin. With the Pinterest tag they had improved performance, optimised spend and created new audiences to target.1

However, recognizing that the Conversions API could maximise their visibility of conversions from Pinterest, they decided to double down on measurement and implement the Conversions API, designed to work alongside the tag.

Maximising the full breadth of Pinterest capabilities, Swyft saw the impact when data-backed solutions and inspiration meet. With the Conversions API implemented, Swyft were able to directly send conversions to Pinterest in real-time via a server-to-server API endpoint. This, along with the Pinterest tag  provided them with more valuable insights and better campaign performance.

This campaign saw significant uplift across the lower-funnel impacts, measuring a 35% lift in volume of attributed checkouts and a 26% improvement in CPA.1
