La Redoute expand their presence in Switzerland with a full-funnel campaign on Pinterest

La Redoute is driving sales in the home décor and furniture category in Switzerland, attracting incremental prospects with a full-funnel strategy

As a French e-commerce giant in the homeware, decoration and fashion sectors, La Redoute were keen to grow their foothold in the Swiss market. It was only natural then that the brand turned to Pinterest.

Innovating for full funnel impact

Following Pinterest's advice, La Redoute Switzerland readily made changes to their media strategy to roll out this campaign, focusing on awareness and shopping.

Adopting the platform's best practices, La Redoute varied the ad formats, combining static and video content to maximise impact. Additionally, the brand adopted a Test & Learn approach throughout the campaign to analyse performance over time and to ensure that the best possible results were achieved.

A multi-objective approach that ultimately paid off, as all campaigns generated an incremental impact on the different stages of the conversion journey: 4.4% more product pages visited, a 4.2% increase in incremental additions to cart and a 4.3% increase in incremental sales.1

The strategy also maximised the campaign's impact, in particular thanks to a strong prospecting strategy. Shopping campaigns aimed at a broad target audience generated a level of iROAS 1.5 times higher than those with a retargeting objective.1
